Travel & Accommodations

— Airport Options —

Option 1: Naples International Airport

This is usually the most practical airport for people travelling from the U.S. and has far more international flight options.

From Naples, the venue is about: 1.5–2 hours by car

or ~2.5–3 hours via train + transfer

Option 2: Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport

This is the nearest airport to the venue — roughly a 45–60 minute drive.

Best if:

You can find a direct or easy connecting flight

You want the shortest transfer

You’re comfortable with a smaller regional airport

Downside:

Limited international flights compared to Naples

— Transportation Options —

Option 1: Renting a Car

A few things to keep in mind if you are going to rent a car:

1. Automatics are much less common in Italy and can sell out months in advance in summer. If you are not comfortable driving stick, make sure you plan in advance.

2. Don’t get a huge car. You will regret it in old Italian towns.

3. You likely need an International Driving Permit (IDP). For U.S. travelers, Italy technically requires one alongside your regular license. AAA can issue one pretty quickly.

RENTAL CAR OPTIONS

1. SIXT Car Rental - Naples Airport

Usually one of the best-reviewed major companies at Naples airport and tends to have newer cars and better English-language support.

2. Europcar Napoli Aeroporto

Very common in Italy and good availability for compact SUVs and automatics.

3. Locauto

Popular with travelers in Italy and often considered easier to deal with than some budget agencies.

Option 2: Private transfer / Taxi

You can either arrange a transfer directly through your hotel / accommodations (if they offer airport shuttle service) or book a local transfer company.

SOME NEARBY TRANSFER SERVICES

1. Tours&Transfers- Private Transfer Castellabate

2. Ncc Transfer Service

3. TAXI H24 Capaccio Paestum di Patrizia Pecora
